Derek S. Hudnall is a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman who served with the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines and deployed to combat in 2003. After returning home, he transitioned from military service into the medical field and later into law enforcement. Derek is the author of STAND TO (also listed as *Stand To Corpsmen: Navy Corpsmen*) – a raw and unfiltered account of his journey into the Corpsman community and early-war experiences. His story invites readers to reflect on their own service and the meaning of resilience.
